All CTKCS alumni are invited to our mass celebrating our Distinguished Graduate, Mrs. Dailey Barnette Wilkinson (Class of '92) and all alumni on Friday, February 1. A reception will follow in Assumption Hall.
Dailey attended Fairhope High School, graduating in 1996. She earned her Bachelor’s degree from the University of South Alabama in Elementary Education.
Dailey is an active volunteer at CTKCS, currently serving as the special lunch coordinator for the school, and she is also a substitute teacher at CTKCS. Dailey and her husband, Chris, have six children, Gantt, a senior at Fairhope HS, Luke, sophomore at Fairhope HS, Luci, a freshman at Bayside Academy, Jack, in 5th grade at CTKCS, John Ben, a fourth grader here, and Ann Everette, who is two years old. She says her greatest achievement from having a Catholic education is being a mom to her six children and raising them in the Catholic faith.
“Having a Catholic education also helped me to achieve my education goals. Because of the teachers I was lucky enough to have at Christ the King, I learned the importance of hard work, “ says Dailey. She also believes her education taught her to always step up and help others in times of need and she has willingly served in this capacity in her life. “I believe that Catholic education is important in the formation of children, especially in today’s world, children need to be able to practice and share their faith.”
