On November 27 Giving Tuesday, Christ the King Catholic School will once again celebrate
#iGiveCatholic, an online giving day celebrated annually on the Tuesday following Thanksgiving, Black Friday, and Cyber Monday, that kicks off the charitable season and brings the Catholic community together to give thanks and give back.
Last year funds raised through this Campaign were used towards the purchase of the shade structure for our Maze. We are thankful for the many generous donors, and to our PTO for matching these funds to accomplish our goal. Nationally, the 2017 campaign raised more than $3.6 million for 600+ participating parishes, schools, and nonprofits representing 17 arch/dioceses.
This year our
#iGiveCatholic goal is $10,000 for the purchase of three class sets of microscopes for our K-8 teachers to use for their science lab lessons. Students are always excited about science lab class and making a discovery under the microscope.
For the convenience of donors, gifts may be made in advance for
#iGiveCatholic between November 12 and 26. Advanced gifts will be charged at the time of donation and credited to our leaderboard during the giving day, Tuesday, November 27. 100% of each gift is given directly to the school, parish or ministry of your choice by selecting the option to cover any credit card fees. Your minimum gift of $25 is 100% tax deductible; donors will receive an automatic tax receipt for their gift via email from
#iGiveCatholic. If your company offers a matching gift program, please apply for those "free" funds for our school.
Join us as a faithful steward celebrating our Catholic heritage, and give back through this
#iGiveCatholic Campaign.
