Eighth grader Marguerite Cowles won the 2019 Jr. High Spelling Bee for the second time in three years. John Stimpson, 7th grade, was the runner up. Marguerite will represent CTKCS in the Archdiocesan Spelling Bee on February 6 at St. Pius. 

Seven Junior High students participated in 10 rounds of spelling and vocabulary words. The following students competed in Classroom Spelling Bees to determine their place in the School Spelling Bee:
6th grade: Elizabeth Henry and Michael Jones
7th grade: James Boulton, Katy Ford, and John Stimpson
8th grade: Tradd Mc Daniel and Marguerite Cowles
