CTKCS Peer Helper applications are now being accepted. The deadline for returning completed applications is
Friday, February 24.
Information and application forms may be found on our
website, under the guidance tab. The Peer Helper program requires a time commitment from both student and parents. Parents and students should carefully review all the information.
Peer Helpers have responsibilities/activities each month, including during the summer. The Guidance Office will provide information on each activity or event in advance, to allow time for planning, as we will need parent help with some of the events. There will also be monthly meetings, scheduling the meetings before school, from 7:15-7:45 AM, is being considered.
We realize this takes a commitment from you as well as your child. We could not have a successful Peer Helper program without your support.
The applications should be turned into Mrs. Roh in the school office by the end of the day on 2/24/17. Once the applications are in, we will determine if the student meets the academic requirements and demonstrates respect for school rules, staff, and peers. We will then start the interview process. Students will receive an appointment time for their interview in an email to their parent.
After the interviews have been completed, we will announce our new Peer Helper team for the 2017-2018 school year.
