Our CTKCS Peer Helpers served in our community by lending a hand to help set up for the 19th Annual Professional Rodeo sponsored by the Jennifer Claire Moore Foundation. All proceeds from this event benefitted the 47 Peer Helper programs across Baldwin County.
The Peer Helper program is a certified curriculum based on teaching communication, coping and problem solving skills in order to equip students with the knowledge to support their peers through daily issues and life obstacles. CTKCS students in grades 4-8 were selected to be our Peer Helper Team and assist the Guidance Office with several student activities such as our After School Homework Help program while also providing support and peer guidance for our students.
