Dear Parents,
We have come to the end of another school year and I want to take this opportunity to express my sincere appreciation to everyone for their support and dedication to Christ the King Catholic School. We are going to miss this year’s 8th grade class. Thank you for this wonderful experience.
Christ the King Inshore Fishing Tournament
The 9th Annual Christ the King Inshore Fishing Tournament was a big success with 360 registrants. Thank you to everyone that came to enjoy a day of exciting activities for the entire family.
Field Day
We had wonderful weather (although a little chilly) for field day and everyone had a great time. I am grateful to Patty Etheridge, Katherine Barr, the Booster Club, PTO, and all who helped.
Eighth Grade
Our eighth graders will be graduating tonight. We are grateful to them for the service and leadership they gave during their years with us. We have 23 families who will “graduate” from CTKCS this year. We wish them God’s blessings as they begin their journey through high school.
We would also like to invite our graduates to stay connected with us through CTKCS Alumni Facebook page www.facebook.com/ctkcsdaphnealumni.org.
The Endowment Fund
I am grateful to all who have contributed to the Endowment Fund, which was initiated by the Class of 2007. Please help us by continuing to support this fund in the years ahead.
Volunteer Hours
Thanks to all who volunteered this year: 311 hours in May and 3,294 hours for the year!
Faculty Appreciation
Thank you to the Kindergarten parents who provided snacks for the faculty meeting this month and to the PTO for the delicious Teacher Appreciation luncheon.
