Christ the King Catholic School welcomes all parents, grandparents and friends to volunteer. There are many opportunities to share your time and talent. The Archdiocese requires all faculty, staff and persons who volunteer in ANY capacity at the school  be trained in the Child Protection Training program.  

If you need to complete the initial training, classes are held the second Tuesday of each month beginning at 7 PM at St. Lawrence Catholic Church in Fairhope. Please click HERE for the schedule. 

In order to complete the initial training, you must:

• Log onto CMGConnect to create an online account. (Instructions for creating an account may be found HERE.)

• Complete the online Initial Child Protection Training & Background Check Curriculum

• Attend an Initial Training Class (Pre-Registration is MANDATORY for attendance.)

CTKCS will hold two training classes on campus in August. Classes will be held on Tuesday, August 23, at 6:00 PM and Wednesday, August 24, at 8:00 AM. Classes will be held in the Immaculata Center. You must register for these classes. 

Once the initial Child Protection Training has been completed, this training must be renewed each year in August. You may renew online at mobarch.org.

You may also renew in the Tech Lab at Christ the King Catholic School, Monday-Friday after 2:45 PM. 

There are many opportunities to share your time and talent at Christ the King Catholic School; PTO, Artsonia and the many classroom activities and events such as story parent/grandparent, chaperoning field trips and assisting with class projects. We are grateful and appreciate you being involved in our school.
