The CTKCS Chess Team had quite a finish for the season. The team went into the final match of the season on February 6 tied for fourth place. The team beat three teams in a four-way playoff for third place!

It was about as exciting as chess is ever likely to get!

Our B-Team swept the first match with four wins, which has never happened before. Our A-Team drew the first match and won the second, as well as the two blitz playoff games. Andrew Kiernan also took home the Lars Britt award for the top middle school player.
