Christ the King is temporarily suspending all on-campus parent volunteer opportunities for the duration of this crisis and will rely on school personnel for special lunch, carpool duty, and playground duty. However, we are exploring other opportunities, such as virtual story time or virtual classroom visits. We appreciate all of our volunteers and are actively looking for safe ways to keep everyone involved at Christ the King.
All parents, grandparents and caregivers of Christ the King students are encouraged to browse our list of volunteer opportunities (please see the list below) to find a way to serve our school community by offering the gift of your time and talent. You may contact a committee chair listed here directly or sign up for a specific committee HERE. Those who sign up will be contacted by committee chairs to discuss details and your availability. We are grateful for the volunteer hours of our parents and guardians which enable us to carry out our mission of fostering the spiritual, intellectual, social, emotional and physical growth of our students.
The Archdiocese of Mobile requires all faculty, staff and persons who volunteer in any capacity at the school to be trained in the Safe Environments Program. Learn more HERE.
If you have any questions about these committees or if you are interested in chairing a committee in the future, contact PTO President, Meghan Dunn, or Vice President, Sara Smith.
